Man United are keen to complete an incredible double swoop and Neymar and Sadio Mane before the end of the summer transfer window, according to reports.
According to Metro United officials are working to complete deals for both players with Louis van Gaal looking to bolster his side’s front third.
Southampton speedster Sadio Mane has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford, and Daily Star reports United are confident of completing a deal by next Tuesday.
Saints boss Ronald Koeman is understood to be desperate to keep hold of the Senegalese international and United may have to dig even deeper into its coffers to have any chance of snaring the signature of the 23-year-old.
United are also believed still be keen in a move for Barcelona superstar Neymar, but there’s no doubt it’s highly ambitious by the Premier League giants.
Neymar is understood to have a £140m buyout clause, however, Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu says the Brazilian isn’t heading anywhere this summer.
It seems Manchester United are not yet willing to give up on the chase for the former Santos man, but a deal looks highly unlikely at this stage.
