One of the rising stars on the PSG squad, Lucas Moura is coming off a strong season as winger. Can Man United land him amidst their other pending transfer moves?
As negotiations between Man United and Paris Saint-Germain for Angel Di Maria rumble on, the Red Devils have turned their eyes towards the French club’s star winger Lucas Moura.
According to a report from The Mirror via Tribal Football, Man United have asked about the availability of the 22-year-old winger. With PSG trying to lowball Man United on the selling the price of Angel Di Maria – a flop the Red Devils are eager to unload – it’s natural that the Old Trafford outfit would look into finding other ways of getting their value’s worth.
A star in Sao Paolo for the beginning of his senior career as well as a silver medalist in the 2012 Olympics, Lucas Rodrigues Moura da Silva aka Lucas Moura is one of the top wingers in Brazil.
After an incredible three-year run at Sao Paolo in his native Brazil, Moura signed with Paris Saint-Germain in 2013 on a €45 million (£33.5 million) transfer – the third largest transfer in PSG history and largest ever made for a Brazilian club.
Moura rewarded PSG for their confidence in him in the second year of his new deal, scoring five goals in 36 league appearances and another seven the following season.
