Lyon owner Jean-Michel Aulas wants to hold onto his star player, who is currently being valued at £22m. He is expected to be the centre of a bidding war between Man United and Paris Saint-Germain.
Aulas is expected to start considering bids when the two teams meet Lacazette’s current value.
The Ligue 1 star would be a welcome addition to Man United, who is looking to get over the hump after falling far behind Chelsea this season.
Man United manager Louis van Gaal is sure to aggressively bid for Lacazette, considering his recent comments on his disappointment in the Red Devils’ strikers following their third consecutive loss.
PSG will not hold back in their pursuit of Lacazette either though, as they are expected to lose players such as striker Edinson Cavani.
A young player like Lacazette would make an ideal replacement for the PSG squad while he may also be the spark Man United needs to put themselves back in competition with Chelsea.
