Although transfer talks have apparently been on the rocks lately, the Metro’s new claims suggest that a switch could yet be on the cards.
The Borussia Dortmund star’s manager, Michael Zorc, stated that his contract that runs through 2017 and that there are no options on the table he knows about, yet he hints that change will be coming to the club.
“There will surely be some changes to the team this summer – maybe more changes than in recent years – but we won’t radically change our team,” Zorc said.
The German’s strong technical and tackling skills make him for a perfect candidate for Man Utd’s manager Louis van Gaal, with the Metro suggesting a central defender is high on his wishlist. 2014 World Cup winner Hummels is his first choice.
