Championship outfit are keen on bringing in Manchester United striker James Wilson to the club on loan, according to reports.
Wilson could struggle to break into Louis van Gaal’s side following the deadline day signing of AS Monaco ace Anthony Martial for a staggering £36m fee.
The 19-year-old is understood to be highly-rated by the Red Devils, but Daily Star reports the Premier League giants are now keen on allowing the youngster to gain experience on loan.
Wilson scored a double for United on his Premier League debut for the club, and hit the back of the net in both the league and the FA Cup last season.
Derby are yet to record a win this season in the Championship and currently sit in 19th position after playing it four draws and a loss.
Wilson would be a solid addition to Paul Clement’s side, who were considered to be one of the favourites for promotion before the season began.
