West Ham United have reportedly launched an offer for Man United striker Javier Hernandez, according to reports.
The Mexican international spent last season on loan with Real Madrid and has been heavily linked with an exit from Old Trafford this summer.
According to Metro, the Hammers have tabled a £9m offer for the 27-year-old who scored seven La Liga goals during his stint with the Spanish giants last season.
West Ham won’t have it all its way however, with The Daily Mail reporting AS Roma, Galatasaray, Besiktas and Wolfsburg are all interested in the former Chivas Guadalajara man.
With striker Andy Carroll sidelined until September, new Hammers boss Slaven Bilic wants to add to his options in the front third and Hernandez certainly fits the bill.
West Ham have also been linked to moves for Mattia Destro, Loic Remy and Charlie Austin, however it seems a concrete offer has now been made for Hernandez.
