Manchester United will not be pursuing a summer deal for Burnley striker Danny Ings, who has been tipped to join Liverpool or Chelsea.

Chelsea target set to start crucial Real Madrid-Juventus Champions League tie
The Daily Star say that reports Louis van Gaal is keen on the 22-year-old are unfounded and that whilst the Red Devils are keeping an eye out for a new striker, Ings will not be a name they are chasing.
It comes as Radamel Falcao looks certain to return to AS Monaco at the end of the season after a quite awful time at Old Trafford, whilst Robin van Persie is fighting to keep his place in the United squad.
“We have other targets in mind at this present time and this is not someone we are interested in,” said a source to the Star.
United had already pipped their table-topping rivals to a deal for PSV winger Memphis Depay, but it looks as if the same won’t be happening with Ings at least.
Whilst any summer deal for the striker, in principle, would be a free one, considering his contract expires at the end of the season, any side that sign him would have to give compensation to the Ings’ club as he is under the age of 24.
Despite Burnley’s relegation from the Premier League last weekend, it seems Ings will be at least one Claret remaining in the top-flight next season.
