Manchester United and Barcelona officials will reportedly meet on Tuesday to conclude the transfer of Pedro.
According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, United chief executive Ed Woodward is expected to fly to Spain for a crunch round of negotiations.
Barcelona are currently holding out for the full £22m release clause in the World Cup winner’s contract, but the Red Devils are apparently hoping to land him for around £18m.

Man United transfer news: £40m Real Madrid star EYED, £7m defender deal AGREED, Angel di Maria LATEST
Louis van Gaal has sanctioned the move for the 28-year-old now that Angel Di Maria seems destined to join Paris Saint-Germain in a £44m transfer.
The Argentine is due in Doha, where PSG’s owners are based, to undergo a medical and discuss personal terms ahead of completing his United departure in the next 24 hours.
Van Gaal wants somebody quick and creative to replace the £59.7m flop in his attack, and Pedro also provides a great goal threat, having scored 86 goals in 254 La Liga and Champions League outings.
But he has fallen down the pecking order at the Camp Nou following the arrivals of Neymar and Luis Suarez, and is thought to want to move to United for more regular opportunities.
