Manchester United and Manchester City set to rival La Liga giants for January signing of Juan Cuadrado…
After a superb World Cup in Brazil, Colombian star Juan Cuadrado was one of the most highly sought after players of the summer transfer window. He was heavily tipped to make a move to either Barcelona or Real Madrid, with both Manchester clubs also thought to be interested.

No one met the Serie A side’s valuation of the World Cup sensation over the summer, but after a less than stellar start to the new campaign his asking price may have dropped somewhat.
He was kept at Fiorentina by being offered a lucrative new contract, but with the contract came the insertion of a €35m buyout clause. This equates to roughly £28m, a fee that any of the top clubs could easily afford.
Cuadrado is a versatile player who is even capable of playing wing-back, a position Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is very keen to strengthen.
Manchester City and United have both held talks in recent weeks with his club to discuss a January transfer, so we could be seeing Cuadrado in the Premier League very soon.
