Young enjoyed his best season at Old Trafford last term, and The Sun reports club bosses will hand the England international a contract extension, however he will remain on his current £120k-a-week wages.
The 29-year-old joined United from Aston Villa in £20m deal in 2011 on a five-year deal.
Young started 26 Premier League games last season and scored two goals and provided three assists in his most successful season since arriving at the club.
Teammate Phil Jones has penned a four-year deal with the Red Devils, ending speculation that both he and Chris Smalling would leave the club this summer.
Jones may be joined in the heart of the United defence by Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos next season, with club officials currently in negotiations with the La Liga giants over the Spanish international.
David de Gea looks likely to head in the opposite direction however if a compromise can be reached, according to The Mirror.
