Martial has three goals in two Premier League appearances so far this season, and his immediate impact has been a significant boost for United boss Louis Van Gaal.
Given that the Red Devils had scored just three goals in their first four league games, the Frenchman’s goalscoring streak has eased the pressure on the Dutchman to get results in a more convincing fashion.
However, Ranieri, who coached Martial during the spell together at Monaco, insists that the Old Trafford faithful can expect to see plenty more from the talented youngster in the years to come as he continues to develop his game.
As reported by Sky Sports, the 63-year-old went on to praise Martial’s calmness and dedication to helping the team, and he believes that approach will take the French international far.
Nevertheless, the Ranieri was keen to insist that the fans and coaching staff must be patient with the teenager, as he still needs time to grow before he can be considered a top player.
