Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has returned to Old Trafford after spending a season on loan with Real Madrid.
He has been pursued by Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United but is expected to stay with Man United, according to the Daily Star.
West Ham had prepared to make a £12m offer to Man United for Hernandez, as star attacker Enner Valencia will be out for three months with an injury.
Although it appears that neither them nor Tottenham will have any luck, it is also being reported that Man United are willing to sell Hernandez if they land Barcelona winger Pedro.
Hernandez showed signs of life during his loan stint at the Bernabeu, as he scored nine goals in 33 appearances for the La Liga giants.
The former Guadalajara has been a consistent performer for the Red Devils, as he scored at least nine goals in his first four seasons with the Premier League giants.
The 27-year-old will be counted on to regain his form, as Man United are relatively light on options up front with Robin van Persie having left the club.
