Man United striker Javier Hernandez could be set to leave Old Trafford before the end of the month as West Ham look to sign a striker.
Co-chairman David Gold has revealed that the club are looking to sign another striker before September 1, specifically because of the injury suffered by Enner Valencia.

That has left Slaven Bilic short of options to start the season coupled with Andy Carroll’s on-going absence, and so Gold has been coy on who he will look to sign before the window closes.
“Now we really must find another centre forward before the transfer window closes. Yes we would like two, but we have to be realistic,” Sky Sports reported.
The Hammers have been linked with a number of players including Hernandez, but Gold remained tight-lipped when questioned on the Mexican, thus suggesting that he could be making moves behind the scenes.
‘Chicarito’ has struggled for first-team opportunities at Old Trafford, spending part of last season on loan at Real Madrid.
Given that Wayne Rooney will lead the line for Louis Van Gaal and with Pedro expected to join the likes of Memphis Depay in being able to interchange in that role, the Dutchman could be willing to let Hernandez leave this month.
