Man United striker Javier Hernandez looks set for a £9m move away from Old Trafford, according to reports.
Hernandez spent last season on loan with La Liga giants Real Madrid and it’s understood United manager Louis van Gaal is willing to give the Mexican international a second chance at the club.
However, Metro last week reported West Ham United had tabled a £9m bid for the former Guadalajara man with Slaven Bilic looking to bolster his attacking options ahead of the new season.
It seems West Ham will face major competition, with Gianluca di Marzio now reporting Tottenham have joined the race for the 27-year-old.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is searching for a striker to partner English star Harry Kane with Roberto Soldado poised to leave the club this summer.
Hernandez hit the back of the net seven times in La Liga for Real Madrid last season and would be a solid addition for Tottenham as the club looks to push for Champions League qualification next season.
