Manchester United transfer talk
Memphis Depay aiming to follow former Manchester United hero
Last weekend, he left angry after he was dropped for the Crystal Palace match and trade rumours have been up in the air ever since. With the team making major developments this summer, manager Louis van Gaal is not sure that van Persie is the right fit for the club.
By playing Wayne Rooney in the midfield, it had created more room for van Persie, but when Rooney was not nearly as affective there and put back at striker, van Persie was not utilized nearly as much.
Manchester United can now see its future without van Persie, who turns 32 in August and is unsure of his future. He is entering his last year of his contract.
