Man United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has insisted that the club can target a Premier League title this season.
The German is still working his way up to full fitness and hopes to play a key role for Louis Van Gaal this season, but he is under no illusions over what they should be targeting.

After a trophy-laden spell with Bayern Munich, the World Cup winner is adamant that the Red Devils can realistically push for a Premier League title in his first season at the club, and is confident Van Gaal is the man to lead them there.
“First of all, I think it is not easy to win a title in the Premier League, as you have really good teams here,” he told Sky Sports.
“But if everyone works hard together, and believes in each other, I think there is a chance to win the title.
“It is not easy, I know that, the rest of the team and coach knows that. We know what we can do and bring on the pitch, so we have to be convinced about ourselves, and I think we are, but we have to work a lot.”
Schweinsteiger was highly complimentary of his boss, revealing that he had a huge impact at Bayern both on the team and him individually.
It was the Dutch tactician that continued to deploy the German international in central midfield, and that in turn allowed him to establish himself as one of the best in the world in his position.
The 31-year-old reiterated that he will back at 100% fitness in the next week or so, and he will then hope to secure his place in the starting line-up.
