Man United defender Matteo Darmian has been left highly impressed with the atmospheres in English football after his summer arrival.

However, he commended the atmospheres generated in English football and believes that he has settled well in his new surroundings.
“English football? When people say that the reality in England is another world, it’s partly true,” Darmian told La Stampa.
“As soon as you arrive, you realise that everything is different, starting with the buildings– you always breathe in a magical atmosphere here, even in training.”
United have come under heavy criticism for some of their dealings in the summer transfer window, but boss Louis Van Gaal can’t be faulted for the acquisition of Darmian.
The versatile defender continued to shine on international duty earlier this week, helping the Azzurri to a 1-0 win over Bulgaria on Sunday night.
