Man United defensive ace Matteo Darmian has revealed that it was impossible for him to turn down the club this summer.
The Italian international joined from Torino last month, and has immediately made an impact at Old Trafford with a string of impressive performances.

Having played his part in helping Louis Van Gaal’s side keep two clean sheets in the Premier League in two games, Darmian has seemingly made the right-back position his own despite suggestions that Antonio Valencia would start.
Meanwhile, he has now insisted that it was never an option to turn down a move to Manchester and is delighted with his choice.
“When Manchester United called me, I didn’t have to think about it for a second – it’s impossible to turn them down,” he told Tuttosport, as reported by Football Italia.
That perhaps isn’t a sentiment shared by several of the club’s other transfer targets this summer, although it is unclear as to how interested United really were in the likes of Nicolas Otamendi and Pedro.
However, after the pair signed for Man City and Chelsea respectively, it remains to be seen what other business Van Gaal does in the transfer market before the window closes in just under two weeks time.
