Italian newspaper Tuttosport claim that Manchester United are thinking about ditching Louis van Gaal and replacing him with former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti.
LVG only signed his three-year contract this summer, but Old Trafford chiefs are said to be underwhelmed.
Ancelotti, who is currently in charge of Real Madrid, could reportedly be offered €16m a year.
That is equal to £12.7m a year, which works out at around £244,000 a week.
Ancelotti left Chelsea in May 2011, after two seasons at Stamford Bridge. He won the Premier League and FA Cup double in 2010.
