Man City are set to secure the signing of defender Nicolas Otamendi as the Argentinian has reportedly flown into Manchester.
According to Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, the Valencia star has arrived in Manchester with a view to completing his €40m move to City.

Louis Van Gaal had also been interested in signing the defensive ace, according to reports, but it appears as though he is set to miss out to the club’s city rivals.
There had been claims on Monday that Eliaquim Mangala would be sent in the opposite direction on loan as part to the deal, but Balague insists that this agreement is separate to that.
Having already started the season in impressive fashion with two comprehensive victories, City look set to continue to build their momentum with another important signing before the transfer window closes.
While questions are being asked of their rivals and their ability to put together a sustained title push, it appears Manuel Pellegrini is merely putting the finishing touches to his reenergised squad as they bid to claim the Premier League crown back from Chelsea.
