Manchester United face the prospect of losing £30m man David de Gea to Spanish giants Real Madrid next summer, with Carlo Ancelotti targeting him as a replacement for Iker Casillas.
If the 24-year-old makes the switch to La Liga then it seems United will turn their attention to Spurs shot-stopper Lloris, with the Frenchman looking consistently flawless between the sticks since moving to North London in 2012.
Tottenham may ask for a fee close to £25m for the world class keeper, but if United are willing to meet their valuation then they will surely struggle to keep hold of him.
The London based club have consistently failed to reach the Champions League, and at 27-years-old Lloris may feel it is time for a new challenge.
