Manchester United are not giving up in their efforts to strike a transfer deal for star Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, and they have come up with a new offer.

Metro reports that the Red Devils are now offering Real £42.5m for the 29-year-old, as their offer of £32m was rejected.
Ramos wants to be one of the highest-paid players for Real, but the club have not complied with his desire right off the bat.
Man United are hoping to capitalise on Ramos’ apparent displeasure with his current place in Bernabeu.
However, this may simply be a ploy by Ramos to land a monster deal with Real.
He still has two years remaining on his contract with Real Madrid, so Man United.
Ramos has played with Real Madrid since 2005, and he helped lead the club to a UEFA Champions League title in 2014 while also winning a Copa del Rey title and three La Liga championships.
