Saido Berahino has ended his working relationship Aidy Ward following the agent’s controversial involvement in the Raheem Sterling transfer saga.
Ward has been very public in trying to drive through Sterling’s departure from Liverpool, and might have played a role in him reportedly refusing to go on the club’s pre-season tour, and calling in sick for pre-season training.

Ward claimed yesterday that his client, who has been the subject of two failed offers from Manchester City, the second of which was in the region of £40m, wants to leave because he does not want to play for Brendan Rodgers.
The outspoken agent also caused a stir in May when he insisted in an interview that the England international would not sign a new contract with the Reds even if it was worth £900,000 per week.
According to the Daily Mail, Berahino has become disillusioned with Ward following Sterling’s attempts to leave Liverpool and has ditched him.
Ward is quoted as saying: “I’m no longer working with Saido. You’ll have to ask him for the reasons.”
The West Bromwich Albion striker, 21, joined Sterling in in going with Ward when the agent left Impact Sports Management to go it alone last season.
Berahino himself has been heavily tipped for a summer move, with Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur all rumoured admirers.
