Chelsea are reportedly closing in on the signing of Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic as they seek a replacement for Petr Cech.
Cech is expected to complete his £11m move to Arsenal on Monday after passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.
The 33-year-old is making the switch across London after losing his place to Thibaut Courtois in the Blues’ goal last season.

Jose Mourinho is now seeking new competition for the Belgian and is attracted to Begovic, who is a proven Premier League performer and also holds home-grown status.
Aston Villa are believed to have had a bid rejected for the Bosnian, who has also been linked with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur as they make contingency plans for losing their own goalkeepers this summer.
But Sky Sports claims that Chelsea are the favourites to acquire the 27-year-old, who is entering the final year of his contract at the Britannia Stadium and wants to test himself at a bigger club.
Begovic has made 173 appearances for Stoke since joining from Portsmouth in 2010.
