Man United have been dealt a transfer blow as Milan chief Adriano Galliani has revealed that the Italian giants are in pole position to sign their target.
Louis Van Gaal has made no secret of his desire to add a striker to his squad this summer, with PSG ace Zlatan Ibrahimovic being linked with a move to Old Trafford.

However, it doesn’t appear as though that will be happening with Galliani suggesting that if the Swedish international does decide to leave the French capital, then it will be for the Rossoneri.
“The chances of signing Ibra are minimal because he has another year on his contract, but if he does leave PSG, then Milan are in pole position,” assured Galliani, as reported by Football Italia.
Reports last week claimed that Ibrahimovic would leave PSG after their French Super Cup clash with Lyon on Saturday, a game which they won.
However, there have been no developments regarding his future over the past few days, and so it remains to be seen what he decides to do this summer.
While United have been linked with numerous other players, it appears as though Galliani will hold out for the former Milan star and if he fails to land his signature then the Serie A outfit will continue as they are.
