However, president Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s advisory team have told Marca: “It is quite untrue”.
It comes amid speculation that Ronaldo is unsettled at the Bernabeu following the departure of Carlo Ancelotti earlier this summer and with Rafa Benitez coming in to replace him.
Rumours have suggested that former club United are monitoring his situation in the Spanish capital, with boss Louis Van Gaal conceding that he thought the former Old Trafford hero was an exceptional player.
If those reports of his unrest are true, then it may well lead to a genuine offer from PSG in the coming weeks, although it remains to be seen if that is enough to spark Van Gaal into action in order to compete with them and bring the United legend back to the club.
