Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez looks set to leave Old Trafford imminently, but he will not be joining West Ham United after the London club were unwilling to meet his outrageous pay demands.
The Mexican forward, who spent last season on loan at Real Madrid, was in talks with the Hammers over a summer transfer.
However, the deal fell through as West Ham told the player that they could not offer him the contract he wanted.
According to Sky Sports, the 27-year-old was asking for a basic wage of £100,000 per week, plus an additional £90,000 goal bonus.

Despite talks with West Ham breaking down, Hernandez is still expected to move away from the Red Devils.
Sky say he is poised to join German side Bayer Leverkusen for a fee in the region of £9m.
Leverkusen were drawn in Champions League Group E earlier this week, alongside Barcelona, Roma and BATE.
