Guardiola opens door to Schweinsteiger exit

Pep Guardiola has surprisingly hinted that Bastian Schweinsteiger could leave Bayern Munich this summer, opening the door to a sensational move to Old Trafford.

Guardiola said, according to Sky Sports, that whilst he wants the midfielder to stay at the Allianz Arena, he won’t stand in his way if he wants to leave.

“I can’t make the call for Basti. He’s a Bayern player, and he is under contract. My plan for next season is that Bastian Schweinsteiger is here,” Guardiola said.
