Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi has been linked with a possible move to Manchester United all summer and it seems that the talk may have gone to his head.
According to Marca, Otamendi has refused to show for preseason training with Valencia in an attempt to force a transfer to Old Trafford.

Otamendi is rated at £25m, which represents decent value, considering the 27-year-old was one of the best centre-backs in La Liga last season.
He has been capped 25 times by Argentina at senior international level.
United’s first-choice signing at centre-half remains Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos, but the Red Devils appear to be fighting a losing battle with the 2014 Champions League winners.
