4. Karim Benzema
Benzema remains one of the most dangerous marksman in Europe, and he continues to impress with his goalscoring ratio for Real Madrid.
It is unlikely that he would leave the Spanish giants behind even though he has had his problems at the Bernabeu in the past, but his arrival in Manchester would certainly guarantee goals. United need a prolific striker, and the Frenchman fits the bill.
3. Christian Benteke
Aston Villa remain adamant that they will not sell their most prized asset for anything less than his £32.5m release clause, and so they will certainly test how much their rivals want him.
Aside from his spell on the sidelines with a torn Achilles, the Belgian striker has been exceptional since arriving from Genk in 2012, and he would need little time to fit in. However, does he fit United’s style of play?
