Man United have been told that they will not be able to sign Southampton ace Sadio Mane this summer after failing in their pursuit of Pedro.
According to reports, the Premier League giants have placed the 23-year-old on their wanted list and have identified him as the perfect alternative to Pedro.

Given that the Spaniard is now expected to complete a move to Chelsea despite being linked with United all summer, Louis Van Gaal will have to switch his focus elsewhere.
That search has taken him to St. Mary’s, but a Southampton official has told their Premier League rivals that their star man will be going nowhere.
“He is a key part of our team and our planning for the future. He wouldn’t be sold,” they told Sky Sports.
The Senegal international scored 10 goals last season and was primarily used as a winger after being signed from Red Bull Salzburg in an £11.8m move last summer.
Van Gaal clearly still wants another attacking player in his squad, and so it remains to be seen whether or not United can persuade Southampton to at least enter discussions over Mane or they will have to continue to look elsewhere.
