Man United have been told that they are wasting their time if they believe that they will sign Bayern Munich ace Thomas Muller.
After United saw Chelsea sign Pedro last week, boss Louis Van Gaal has been forced to reconsider his options with just a week remaining in the window.

While the Dutchman suggested that he wasn’t chasing the former Barcelona winger, he has previously stated that he wishes to sign another attacker.
With Wayne Rooney struggling and a lack of options out wide, Van Gaal could be getting desperate and a £58m fee was reported by several British media outlets this week for Muller.
However, they have been dealt another blow as Bayern sporting director Matthias Sammer has confirmed that no other players will be leaving the club this month.
“We will need every player. I think that there is nothing more that could happen,” he told reporters, according to Sky Sports.
United have already signed Bastian Schweinsteiger from the Bundesliga champions this summer, while they were one of several clubs monitoring Mario Gotze.
However, it doesn’t look as though the World Cup winner will be leaving either as Pep Guardiola’s squad is set in stone.
