The United boss is not likely to be happy with his side’s lacklustre performance – this is how we rated them:
GK) David de Gea 6 The Spaniard spreads more confidence through his defence than he used to, but flapped at a couple of early set pieces.
RB) Antonio Valencia 5 – Valencia still doesn’t look entirely natural playing as a full back, but his final ball was the big issue here.
CB) Phil Jones 7 – Solid enough as a central defender and made a couple of crucial challenges. Still odd that he’s taking corners, though.
