Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has been linked to rumors that he will replace Pellegrini as Man City’s manager.
However, ESPN FC sources have stated that Guardiola is not going anywhere and that he plans to ride out the rest of his Bayern Munich contract, which will expire in 2016.
Pellegrini has been rumored to be possibly be sacked due to Man City’s disappointing follow-up to their Premier League title in the 2013-14 season.
Guardiola has endured criticism as well since his squad was dominated, 3-0, by Barcelona in the Champions League.
It remains to be seen whether Guardiola will stick to his word or if there is any truth to the rumors of him coaching in the Premier League by joining Man City.
