Argentinian is believed to be unsettled in Manchester.
Manchester City are said to be bracing themselves for a big-money move for key front man Sergio Aguero from La Liga champions Real Madrid at the end of the season, reports the Daily Telegraph.
The recently-dethroned Premier League champions are determined to keep hold of their prize asset, who they bought for £38 million from Atletico de Madrid in the summer of 2011, with the Argentina international having only put pen to paper on a new bumper long-term four-year contract at the Etihad Stadium last year.
However, with the attacker’s marriage to the daughter of Diego Maradona having ended at the turn of this year, and the player now unable to see his three-year-old son Benjamin, who resides in Madrid with his mother, there is growing concern at Eastlands that Aguero could push for a move to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
If City are forced to sell Aguero this summer due to his personal problems, the mega-rich club are determined to recoup all of the fee which they splashed out on the 24-year-old two years ago, which would mean Los Blancos needing to come up with about £40m if they wish to bring the coveted striker to Spain.
