Manchester City have been backed into odds-on to sign Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph this summer.
The Citizens are after home-grown talent and also a holding midfielder to allow Yaya Toure to move further forward.
They had been linked with a sensational £40m swoop for Arsenal star Jack Wilshere, but have now seemingly turned their attention to a more attainable target.

SkyBet report that the odds on Delph moving to the Etihad Stadium during this transfer window have plummeted to 1/4 after a series of overnight bets.
The 25-year-old had been tipped to join either Liverpool or Tottenham Hotspur on a free before signing a new four-and-a-half year deal at Villa in January.
Delph has won six international caps for England since making his debut last year.
