Etihad Stadium club could move for Swedish international star.
Manchester City are on red alert after the Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent admitted the maverick striker could leave PSG this summer.
The 31-year-old joined the runaway Ligue 1 leaders from AC Milan last summer and has been pivotal to their fine form both domestically and in Europe, scoring 32 goals in 42 appearances.
Despite costing PSG £17m, the striker has been linked with a move to former employers Juventus, as well as Premier League big-spenders Manchester City.
And the Swede’s agent Mino Raiola has done nothing to dispel the speculation, admitting that his client is currently evaluating his options.
“Right now we are studying all scenarios,” Mino Raiola told talkSPORT. “Of course Zlatan could be in Paris next season, but a transfer is possible if the situation changes in the PSG.
“We can rest when we are assured that [PSG manager Carlo] Ancelotti will not go and they are going to strengthen the squad for the coming years.”
Manchester City are yet to replace Italy international forward Mario Balotelli, who joined AC Milan in January as a belated replacement for Ibrahimovic.
Meanwhile, the Etihad Stadium club are understood to be ready to allow Edin Dzeko to leave this summer.
