Mancini keen to already start recruiting for the next campaign.
Manchester City are eyeing up a move for exciting Sevilla midfielder player Jesus Navas at the end of the season, according to reports on talkSPORT.co.uk.
The Spain international has enjoyed yet another consistent campaign in La Liga for his high-flying club, featuring in 31 league games and providing four assists.
Meanwhile, in all competitions to date so far this season the 27-year-old has played in 38 matches, scoring one goal and laying on four others for team-mates in the process.
And City head coach Roberto Mancini is hoping to be able to persuade Sevilla to part company with their prize asset when the transfer window reopens for business on 1 June.
However, with Navas contracted to the Liga outfit until 2015 and with a reported buy-out clause of £30 million in that deal, City know that the player, who has won 23 caps for his country in a four-year international career to date, will not come cheap.
