Bacary Sagna to make way for Wilfried Bony.
Manchester City are set to cut former Arsenal right back Bacary Sagna from their Champions League squad in favour of new signing Wilfried Bony, report the Mirror, with the Ivorian’s arrival having left them with one more foreign player than UEFA regulations allow.

Four Arsenal transfers that look imminent
After they failed Financial Fair Play regulations, UEFA cut the size of City’s allowed squad for the Champions League by four players to 21, with only 16 of those allowed to be foreign, meaning that the arrival of Bony has put them over the allotted number.
With Pellegrini likely to have targeted Bony partly on account of his Champions League availability, someone is going to have to make way unless a player is sold, with former Arsenal star Sagna looking likely to be the fall guy.
