Striker not interested in Etihad Stadium switch.
AC Milan striker Stepehen El Shaarawy has shrugged off interest from Manchester City and insists he wants to stay at the San Siro for the rest of his career.
The 20-year-old hitman has enjoyed a fine season for the Serie A club, scoring 18 goals in 41 appearances.
‘The Pharaoh’ has linked up well with International teammate Mario Balotelli, who arrived at Milan from Manchester City in January.
El Shaarawy, who was named Milan’s player of 2012, has been linked with a big-money summer switch to the Etihad Stadium, ironically as a replacement for Balotelli.
But El Shaarawy, who has made no secret of his passion for the Rossoneri since childhood, dismissed the rumours.
“I’d like to stay at Milan for life,” the Italy international told Football Italia.
Manchester City are understood to be willing to allow striker Edin Dzeko to depart this summer, while Real Madrid have been linked with a surprise swoop for Sergio Aguero.
