AM- Mesut Ozil
The German has received plenty of unfair criticism this year, but his quality is undeniable. His lazy-looking demeanour means that opposition relax when they see him on the ball, or moving into a seemingly odd position on the pitch. However, his brain seems to assess the situation quicker than most, and he will often find the killer pass that leads to a goal for his side.
AM- Ashley Young
Another player that has received undue criticism. The left winger has enjoyed his best season since his move to United, and starting to deliver on the promise he showed when he first appeared on the scene as a youngster at Watford. In United’s last game, his testing crosses into the box resulted in a penalty and the winning goal for his side. An England call-up could well be on its way.
ST- Olivier Giroud
Arsenal fans may be wondering what could have happened had the Frenchman been fit for the entire season. The 28-year-old’s tally of 14 goals would be much closer to that of Diego Costa, Harry Kane, and Sergio Aguero had he not sustained an injury against Everton that kept him out for practically three months.
