Arsenal centre-back Laurent Koscielny is a target for both Premier League champions Manchester United, as well as a number of other major clubs on the Continent, according to reports in the Daily Telegraph.
The France international has improved massively since joining the north London club from Ligue 1 minnows Lorient four years ago.
And with the central defender currently earning just £50,000 per week at the Emirates compared to the £90,000-per-week deal that his centre-back partner Per Mertesacker is on at present or the £70,000 that Belgium international Thomas Vermaelen commands, the Gunners will need to significantly increase Koscielny’s wage packet, or risk losing the player this summer.
Apart from the Red Devils, it is understood that the likes of Bundesliga and European champions Bayern Munich, Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco are all understood to be keen to sign the 28-year-old this summer.
