Red Devils don’t want to pay over the odds for the Chilean despite having no cash issues.
Manchester United believe that their £30 million capture of England teenager Luke Shaw and their £28 million signing of Spanish playmaker Ander Herrera are worth their weight, but they are surprisingly baulking at Italian giants Juventus’ £34 million asking price for Chilean ace Arturo Vidal, reports the Daily Mirror.
Vidal is widely known as one of the best players in the world in his box-to-box role at Juventus and while a £34 million price tag seems a pretty fair one of the 27-year old in the current market, the Red Devils are suddenly having problems paying up for the Chilean international.
There is no shortage of cash for United, particular after their recent Adidas kit deal agreement and their ongoing Chevrolet deal, and one will have to wait and see why their top management is failing to meet Juve’s demands for Vidal.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man is believed to be keen on a move to Man United though, and it would interesting to see if the Red Devils finally give in to Juve’s demands and bring a world class player on board.
