Manchester United coach Louis van Gaal has reiterated that it is important for Anthony Martial to stay focused as he continues to shine for his new club.
The 19-year-old scored his fourth goal in as many games on Wednesday night, as he added the finishing touches to United’s 3-0 Capital One Cup win over Ipswich Town at Old Trafford.

After scoring twice against Southampton at the weekend to make it three in two games in the Premier League, excitement is growing over what the talented youngster can offer the club for the rest of this season.
However, van Gaal was keen to control expectations despite the fact that he is aware of how Martial’s characteristics are perfect for his team.
“He is a player who is very modest and he knows he can score because of his fellow players,” Van Gaal said, as reported by Sky Sports.
“We made it two times very easy [for him] because we won the game and then the gaps are existing and then with his speed and his composure he can score.
“He did it also against Liverpool and now again. We are happy but still we have to keep our feet on the ground.”
Martial will hope to continue to add to his tally for the Red Devils when they host strugglers Sunderland on Saturday afternoon, although it remains to be seen whether or not Van Gaal continues to play him along with Wayne Rooney or opts for a change in his tactical set-up.
