Manchester United or Chelsea could be on the verge of completing an early summer signing with the news that Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan has flown to England to sign for a Premier League club.

His destination remains something of a mystery for the moment, but it looks as though the Argentine will be on his way out of the Portuguese club this summer after long being regarded as one of their best players.
United and Chelsea have both been strongly linked with him in recent times and seem the likeliest sides to be eyeing him up, though the Red Devils have recently completed the signing of a similar player in Memphis Depay.
Chelsea, meanwhile, may be looking for a player to improve on failed January signing Juan Cuadrado on the right flank, and Gaitan would be a great purchase.
According to the Metro, the 27-year-old should cost his release clause of around £24.8m.
