The Red Devils have been linked several times with the talented youngster, who has been dubbed the ‘Dutch Cristiano Ronaldo’ after his fine performances in the Eredivisie and for the Netherlands national team.
PSV have confirmed that they expect the player to leave in the near future, and it is thought that Old Trafford will be the player’s destination this January.
United already have plenty of options in the attacking midfield department, but may be set to offload Juan Mata for around £20m to Juventus or AS Roma this winter.
