Aston Villa transfer rumours
The Villans’ main man is said to have impressed Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal in his recent performance against Manchester United at Old Trafford and the Dutchman will now enquire into signing him.
Van Gaal will be looking to do serious business in the striking department for the club in summer, with Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie’s futures both looking in serious doubt along with young star James Wilson set to go out on loan to gain first team experience.
Benteke has looked a completely different player since the arrival of new Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood, scoring nine goals in little over a month, as opposed to previously scoring just three in the entire rest of the season under Paul Lambert, who was subsequently sacked.
