The Red Devils could spend £50m on Sterling, who is continuing to make the headlines as he stalls on signing a new contract at Anfield, which could now lead to a hugely shocking transfer to arch rivals United in the summer.
United spent big last summer as Louis van Gaal brought in a whole host of big names, and it looks as though the Dutchman wants to continue this policy again this year.
Khedira would be a free transfer as he comes to the end of his deal at the Bernabeu, but the German World Cup winner would still command huge wages of £200,000 per week to make the move to Manchester, according to latest information in the Daily Express.
