£27m midfield flop attracting Serie A interest.Manchester United’s expensive transfer flop from last summer, Marouane Fellaini, is reportedly a target for Fiorentina, according to Lefigaro.
The Belgian international, who is set to return from World Cup action after his side were knocked out by Argentina at the quarter-final stages, has endured a highly disappointing time at Old Trafford since his £27m move from Everton on deadline day of last year.
It is now thought that new manager Louis van Gaal could look to sell the midfielder on just one season after his arrival, with the Dutchman known to be plotting some high-profile transfer moves of his own.
Ander Herrera has already arrived from Athletic Bilbao and more could follow in that problem position of central midfield for United, meaning Fellaini could be allowed to leave for a cut-price fee.
Another Red Devils squad player recently made the move to the Italian side, with Brazilian flop Anderson spending the second half of last season on loan in Florence.
