The Serbian international has not been at his best since making the summer move to Inter Milan, and could be in line for a quick return to Old Trafford.
His agent Silvano Martina has hinted that Vidic’s future in Italy is uncertain as the summer approaches, which could put United on red alert.
“Will he be at Inter next season? I’m not a magician, I can’t see the future,” he said.
